LATINAS are very underrepresented in big markets! Only until now, am I aware that I am buying a chicana owned brand at Target. Finding Rizos Curls (a product for my leona hair days) there, inspired me and gave me hope. I have the passion and support that allows me work on my dream of building a recognizable chicana created brand. Are you Salvadorena,Mexicana, chapina, or consider yourself a Latina diosa emprendedora? Come to our GODDESS MERCADO on May 8th! Survey our market for a Latina brand/product that is not currently represented at our monthly mercado. Help this group of Latinas build and grow their homegrown brands. If you are a Latina high school student that creates a unique product I will sponsor your first participation (sponsoring a different student every month and looking for more sponsors).
